My father, writer Yaakov Shabtai died when I was an eight month old baby.

I was born following a decade long affair with my mother, while he was married with two daughters. Thirty three years later, I’m embarking on a journey after my father.

Through the words he wrote and the landmarks in his life I am trying to assemble his image, trying to understand the relationship between my parents, and my identity as the third daughter, born out of wedlock
