Did you know that the citizens of Israel are the world champions in responding to articles on the Internet – Talkbacks. There are Talkbacks in every article on every website in Israel, Starting from politics, through cooking and even the weather forecast. We respond to everything, in average, 90% of the responses – are negative.

“Talkbacking” has become a national sport in Israel – Jews and Arabs, Religious and secular, rich and poor, Israelis just cannot stay silent. When you make them mad – They Talk back.

This is the story of a phenomenon that reflects the complexity and fragility of the Israeli Society, as told through the eyes of the people who construct it. The stories of the people behind the nicknames, and how they transformed us from the state of Israel – To the state of Talkbackers.
